A committed sector
with people

Beyond production, the soft fruit sector actively works to improve the working and social conditions of those who participate in the harvest each year. This commitment translates into concrete and measurable initiatives.

Social commitment

Social responsibility
as part of the production model

The soft fruit sector generates tens of thousands of jobs each season, with a large workforce from diverse countries and cultures. This context demands a genuine and active commitment to people, one that goes far beyond mere regulatory compliance.

Through Interfresa and initiatives such as PRELSI, the sector has built a pioneering social responsibility model in the European agricultural field.

The PRELSI

The most advanced initiative in the sector in social responsibility

The PRELSI (Plan for Ethical, Labor, Social and Equality Responsibility) is the sector's main tool for ensuring the well-being of workers during the harvest season. With a specialized team present in the field, it works directly on the ground in four key areas: support, mediation, prevention, and equality.

More than 7 years of continuous presence in the field
More than 100 daily visits during the campaign
Internationally recognized as a benchmark
